In Association of Finnish Furniture Retailers statistics are collected systematically through the whole line of business in cooperation with Statistics Finland. Statistics are collected from the companies defined as furniture retailers by our association’s work group. Information is gathered from places of business so that that retail sales can be separated from other activities such as manufacturing.
Monthly statistics are gathered from approximately 460 companies and from about 700 places of business. Information is available within three months delay.
Statistics are complemented with surveys aimed at members of the association. Surveys help us to give information on market shares, market expectations, product groups and sales progress.
It is highly important to us, that the statistical information given to public is correct and consistent.
